Project Goal
The Advancement Foundation’s Virginia Innovation Accelerator (VIA) is a multi-use facility located in
Buena Vista that features a business incubator and classrooms, ag and food tech laboratories, small-scale
manufacturing space, and product development space. GO Virginia funds are supporting key staff
positions, business programming, equipment purchases, and commercialization services. As a nonprofit
accelerator, VIA helps food and agriculture entrepreneurs grow to scale. Its services incorporate emerging
technologies, proof of concept, and specialized equipment for product development, processing, and
distribution
