Project Goal
The Winchester Regional Airport Authority is using GO Virginia funds to complete a planning study of a
27-acre tract of land for future business development. Study activities include analyzing site development
requirements and performing selected surveys. The Authority-owned site can accommodate a wide range
of aviation uses and is key to implementing the airport’s business development strategy and growing
Region 8’s role in the aerospace industry.
